I wish they would integrate some of the old catalog into the base game. Like bring the gameplay from “Get to Work” into the BG and then use the retail system to create a Malls or Home Business EP.

I think there's still a shot that fairies is a game pack, it may not be out for a while, but every other good occult has had a dedicated game pack. Werewolves was pretty groundbreaking for game packs, and it wasn't released as an expansion pack. Honestly I'm just desperate for fairies because I hate playing normal sims lol.

I really want 🧚‍♀️🧚🧚‍♂️ for the next game pack but I think a supernatural pack would be cool as well- they could add new occults and improve upon the ones we already have- just to add even more depth with them.

I think they are rethinking GP like they did stuff packs. Everyone thought stuff packs were gone them boom back again better than ever. It would be good if they did the same with game packs maybe we could get a really good fairy game pack maybe with unicorns that work differently to horses 🤷‍♀

Dragons Fairies and Unicorns Bands Grim Reaper Marvel and DC (especially Batman) would be epic A world full of hidden things and places would be great like a whole mysterious island 😊😊

Kits after lovestruck and then the grim pack or fairies at the end of the year. Stuff pack at the start of the year then bands ep in summer. If we were to get cars I feel like it would be an ep because the stuff packs are so small now.

Maybe the next EP after Lovestruck will be a carnival pack. In TS1 half the lots in the Makin’ Magic EP area were carnival themed, there were some things in TS1 Vacation and we had some carnival themed stuff in TS3 Seasons with the festivals and the TS3 store with the Carousel, Classic Gumball Machine, Hot Air Balloon and the roller coaster. Also ax throwing from TS2, Skydiving simulator from TS1, the Archery range from TS1, the aquarium thing from TS1, pinball machine (TS1, TS2 and TS3), Genies and fairies from TS3, the fortune teller career from TS3 and all the proper arcade machines from TS1, TS2, TS3 and TS3 store among other things could work in such a pack. There could even be a lot type and trait called Arcade and bowling could work with that lot type, if you have that pack. List of Proper Arcade machines: claw machine (TS3), arcade basketball (TS3 store), Table top arcade (TS3 & TS3 Store), Skee ball (TS3), ones like the Smack-A-Gnome! (TS3) (there were also some from TS1 like that), the Zoltar Fortune Teller type Machine (TS1) and just regular size machines like the ones from TS1, TS2 and TS3. If you happen to do a video, of things you would like to in the next EP, I’ll add more then.

I'm excited they are planning to add more expansions to TS4. There is a lot of time and money in this game. I hope they are taking their time for the next The Sims title great. I use to be over TS4 but I'm back in a "just accept it phase and buy more DLC and enjoy it while it's here".

I don't think we can have it but I really want/need a gamepack focused exclusively on Toddlers or Elders since they are two stages of a sim's life that still have a lot of potential.

My idea when it comes to sims when they go modern they will end up going sort of magical or traditional building or rustic so band funerals fairies looking deep into the future dinosaurs space future stuff and cars but I’m a take round pools hoping for more build mechanics spiral stair and cars

when kits are announced it makes me feel like I'm on a long drive with just fumes in my gas tank. it gives me the blahs.

I would like game packs back but I am worried that we're not getting them back. I'm worried about fairies being in an expansion pack and how they would deal with them.

We keep seeing butterflies and Grim popping up quite often, so I’m taking those as hints for fairy stuff and something death related… I still want bands really, really badly though so I’m holding out hope for that eventually!

I still find it annoying, this is just me btw. That all the hints for Italy in The hustle kitchen pack, and Horse Ranch. With the grape vine, like yeah it could just be debug from the nectar, but I’m still feeling we might be getting Italy. I’m probably wrong.

Long rant-y post! A bit mad we can't genuinely have sims attracted to thin/fat types like in TS2. (I don't know about 3, didn't get to the chance to play past Pets because my computer died and my second computer was too old to handle it.) But I'm pretty much certain EA would claim it's either triggering or would promote obesity. Neither of which are true. A lot of my female sims are fat and I headcannon that their husbands prefer them that way, not in a gross way. Some people just look better fat anyway. Excited for the pack as a whole, more annoyed for the forced and not optional (we've never had an optional one) update that eludes to polyamory. From my understanding, it sounds way more like casual dating people with no jealousy involved. I'm wholly against polyamory or even open marriages because that's not how I was raised and prefer a standard marriage, even in sims. But I am glad the sims team is learning that _actual adults_ play this game for the most part and it's not just young children and tweens. Like, get a clue. I don't mind a tiny bit of spice in my games because my sims woohoo too. I'll have to put off buying this pack for an unknown amount of time, but I'll get it eventually. Edit: And I kind of don't get the 'this should have been a game pack.' complaints. I mean, we're getting a new career and actual (rabbit hole most likely) counseling! Along with the other stuff, that's a lot. But I can see where this may have worked better as a game pack, but we seem to be getting a lot of things.

I hope we can later the romance dynamics with the ones from Growing Together! I want to make Bob and Eliza both Difficult and Strained 😂

I feel scammed for my mom, my mom doesn't have many joys in life, but she loves sims, and she was SO exited about life by you.. and every time they post poned the game my mom was so sad and it makes me so angry that they fuck with people like my mom, if they're that bad at making a game why did they even announce it in the first place, clearly planning is not part of their game development strategy... They made my mom sad, she is old and probably won't live until the next life sim that will excite her as much as this game did. I feel real hatred towards the developers of this game.

I agree that the blog post offered more information than the teaser trailer. But, I think the point of those trailers was meant to excite players to be looking forward to the new pack. The full trailer and livestream, if done well, should flesh out all or most of the pack's features.

Is anyone else concerned how that new flirty aura for maxing out the romance skill will make it so your sims wind up in romantic relationships with everyone? I know they said they're adding in a few things to set how your sim behaves but what if you want that set to be open to polyamory but not with just anyone? I'm probably not explaining well but I hope some of you get it and can let me know how you feel about the potential issue(s) as well.

I hope they move the question “ask if single” from being romantic to a neutral question. My sims isn’t flirting with you- she’s just nosy! lol

It's sad that my first thought when seeing these new features is wondering how many of them are actually going to work.

Definently agree with your point that Love Struck sounds more interesting from the blog post. Originally I wasn’t planning on getting this one at all, but now I’m thinking i’ll hold off till it goes on sale. Its interesting but not worth paying expansion pack pricing for.

Not worth it, not buying it. It's literally just a shitty copycat of Wonderful Whims. Plus it's really irritating that when they FINALLY ad polyamory it's behind a paywall.

It would have made perfect sense to add hotels to this pack. That would have beefed it up a lot and given players who are not romance centred in their game something else to buy the pack for.
